To Feel, To Hear, To See, To Taste, To Smell

Have you ever been in a store in which you want to touch, taste and smell everything in it because it's all just so, well, desirable?! Watson Kennedy is just such a boutique. With two locations in downtown Seattle and one on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, you're bound to find the perfect greeting card (um, Driscoll Design, anyone?), gift or home decor item for yourself. If you're lucky enough to run into Ted Kennedy, the proprietor, you'll be welcomed with a gracious hello that is as warm as the store's interior.

A little Paris in Savannah

We're busily putting together a special delivery for one of our favorite stores located in beautiful Savannah, Georgia! It's called Paris Market & Brocante. This is exactly the type of store that I would love to open one day. It's chock-full of nostalgic and whimsical treasures that will keep you there for a long, long time. While there, we found a large, beautiful magnifying glass with a twisted, black horn handle for my mother which she displays on her antique desk in all its glory.

Charlie and I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing town in December of 2008 when all the historical town homes and charming boutiques were all a-glitter with Christmas ornamentation. Spectacular! We still daydream of moving our home and business there one day (although we would dearly miss our beloved Seattle)! Savannah School of Art and Design is there as well and I would imagine that students there would find so much inspiration amongst the antique stores, historical lore and Spanish moss.
