Ballard Art Walk

Here I am with our display at the Ballard Sip'n Ship during the Ballard Artwalk a couple of months ago. Lots of people came in to scope out the shop and chat with myself and another talented designer, Penny Eversole, of Pinkerton Design. To see some of Penny's fabulous work, here's her website: www.pinkertondesign.com

Ship Ahoy!

With summer vacations starting up, I've been daydreaming about ocean cruises and warm sunshine (it's only 55 degrees in Seattle today, Lord help us)! Summer Solstice will be here in 4 days and I still haven't had my yearly sunburn, boo-hoo (I'll take anything I can get other than pale).

On a cheerier note, here's our new, cute sailor card to wish any little (or big) boy a very Happy Birthday!

2011 Calendar of Whimsy and Delight!

Well, it may be early for some folks but we couldn't wait to show off our 2011 Calendar because it's hot off the press! It features our "Par Avion" line of postage stamp format designs. Each month has a design with bold colors and a unique theme.

It retails for $15 and comes in a practical, clear cd case that turns into a display easel and it's perfect for any nook and cranny in the office or home. For wholesale questions or to purchase, contact us at info@driscolldesign.com or call 206.789.1978.

Par Avion

Here is the latest collection from yours truly! I hope you like them. It's from our newest collection, "Par Avion", which features the signature Driscoll Design style within a postage stamp format and printed on a beautiful, clean, white paper (100% Post Consumer Recycled Fiber, naturally)! Oh yeah, and don't forget the glitter, mon ami. XOXO

Farm Chicks!

My friend and I went to Farm Chicks this weekend! It's a show located at the Spokane Fairgrounds and Expo and it is filled with vendors who sell antiques, collectibles and handmade goods. It's one, big, girly fest! While there, I found a couple of old pieces of vintage luggage to use as a tv stand, an old, brass, lard bucket with a cool brand label and a vintage belt buckle (which I'm wearing right now) from the 40's or 50's that has some cowgirl boots on it. Can I call myself a farm chick even though I've never made marmalade and dinnertime usually means dining out at a sushi restaurant? Sure, why not. Besides, I've got the belt to prove it.

Greenwood-Phinney Artwalk

The annual Greenwood-Phinney Artwalk in Seattle is swiftly approaching! Come one, come all on May 14th (6-9pm) and 15th (12-5pm) and take a stroll along Greenwood from 59th to 87th Avenue to view the local art, meet the artists, shop in the unique boutiques and simply drink in the scene!

While you're there, drop on by the Greenwood Sip'n Ship (8560 Greenwood Ave N) to help celebrate it's first-year birthday with cupcakes, balloons and coffee. Yours truly (lead designer and co-owner of Driscoll Design) will be there to feature some of my newer designs which include greeting cards, journals and glittery matchboxes.

Here are a couple of links to guide you there:
